How do I reset my password and/username?

  1. Go to our website (www.iiasa.org.za) and click the 'Reset Password' link under the 'sign in' section on the right hand column of the home page. The link can be accessed by Clicking Here
  2. Once you have clicked the link, enter the e-mail address (that this mail was sent to) and complete the validation question, then click 'Reset Password' button.
  3. You will receive an e-mail from iiasouthafrica@iiasa.org.za with a link to reset your password. On the page that opens, enter your preferred password and click the 'reset password' button.
  4. If you do not receive the password reset e-mail, please check your spam or junk mail folder as the "Reset Password" email may be treated as Spam.
  5. Your username will be displayed on the confirmation of reset page.

 

If you followed the automated password reset process and you did not get the e-mail or you no longer have access to your former e-mail address, please contact the membership department for assistance. 

You have full control over your username and password.

How do I update my information my IIA SA website profile?

One of the great features of the system we have implemented is that Members now have the power to manage their own profile so you can update your information online.

  • Click on the 'Manage Profile' link that appears in the right column.
  • In the screen that opens, click on the 'Edit Bio' icon (in the centre column).
  • In the page that opens, fill in the form to update your details.
Click the 'save changes' button at the bottom of the form to confirm your changes.

How do I renew my membership myself / How do I raise a membership renewal invoice myself?

Existing Members are able to renew their membership via the Website – Steps are below

  • Login into you IIA SA website profile using your username and password. You can log in via the following link: https://www.iiasa.org.za/login.aspx
  • Click on the 'Manage Profile' link that appears in the right column.
  • Click on the *** Renew Your Membership Now *** link at the top of the page
  • Once you click the above link, you will be prompted to review / update your profile
  • Once you have updated your information and "Save Changes" button you will be taken to a billing page
  • Tick the optional extras you would like included, confirm your billing information
    • (Select the 'Check here if the billing address is the same as the member address' to fill in the existing information)
    • You have the option of customising your invoice to include subscriptions for the International Internal Auditor Magazine and / or a subscription to the IIA SA Online Library.
  • Select your payment and fill in your credit card details to pay via credit card (or select Bill me to create an invoice for payment by your organisation)
  • Once you have generated the invoice, you can print it print via your browser.
    • To print your invoice without the HTML header and Footers, navigate to the Settings / Customise Section of your browser, Select Print / Page Setup option and select 'empty' or 'blank' under the different Header and Footer Options.

 

How do I apply for assessment for the Occupational Qualifications?

All assessment applications must be completed online via the following links:

You will be required to log into your IIA SA website profile.

A PTP or RPL application form must be completed in full for the relevant qualification. The application form and all supporting documents must be uploaded for processing and the required fees must be paid in full.

 

How do I register to use the IIA SA billing process for Global Certifications?

When you utilise the pre-application or pre-registration process for Global Certifications via the IIA South Africa, you are completing a billing process that will allow IIA SA to facilitate payment to IIA Global on your behalf. Once the payment is cleared, the application and/or registration process must still be completed on the CCMS.

  • On the IIA SA website navigate to the Global Certifications Tab under Professional Development -
  • Click on the “Apply through IIA SA” button.
  • You will be required to log into your IIA SA website profile.
  • Once logged in, complete the form in full and select the Certification Type you want to apply/register for.
    • Submit the form and keep a record of the reference number you receive.
  • Once your form has been reviewed and processed internally, a quote or invoice will be issued based on the requirements you stipulated on the form submitted.
    • Quotations and Invoices issued via the IIA South Africa, are issued in ZAR, and do include VAT.
    • Once the Quotation is approved by the candidate, an Invoice will be issued.
    • Quotations and Invoices have a validity period of 7 days.
    • The fees are calculated on a periodic basis and are subject to review from time to time.
    • If the quotation or Invoice has expired, and the fees are amended after the expiry date, the new quotation or Invoice will be based on revised pricing.
  • Once the payment has been received and processed by the IIA South Africa, the payment status will be updated on the IIA Global CCMS.
    • Please take note that, where payment is made via EFT/direct deposit the payment processing can take up to 10 days, as the process begins once payment reflects on our bank statements. Once payment has been processed, it can take up to 10 working days for the payment to be applied on the IIA Global System. 
  • Candidates will receive an e-mail notification from the CCMS once the payment has been loaded.
  • After receipt of the e-mail, candidates must log into the CCMS and complete the application/registration process. In the case of applications, supporting documents will be required to finalise the process.
  • Once the application has been completed, the vetting and approval process will be completed by IIA South Africa staff.
    • The vetting and approval process is only applicable to applications and can take up to 10 working days, following submission of all required documents.
  • Once the application has been approved, candidates will be able to register for their selected program and schedule their examination on the Pearson Vue system, accessible via the CCMS.

 

Applications and registrations are two separate processes, each with their own fees and processes.

 

How do I log into the CCMS?

  • You can log into the CCMS via the following link: https://ccms.theiia.org/
  • Your username on the CCMS system will be your Global ID (sometimes referred to as a Global Membership Number or Candidate ID) but the password for access to the CCMS system is not necessarily the same as the one you use to access the Global Website.
  • If you have previously registered on the CCMS system, participated in Examinations or are certified, then you already have an account on the CCMS system and you should follow the Forgotten Credentials steps in the CCMS user guide. DO NOT create a new profile.
  • If you have NOT previously participated in exams, then you would follow the First Time user steps in the CCMS user guide. If you are a member, please ensure that you enter your global membership number as the username to ensure you are not inadvertently creating a duplicate account. The IIA Global Information we have on file for you is visible to you on your IIA South Africa profile. The global access details will differ from your local username and password.

 

Where will I find my Global ID/Global Membership Number/Candidate ID?

The Global ID is sometimes referred to as a Global Membership Number or Candidate ID. You will be able to view your Global ID when you log into you IIA SA website profile https://www.iiasa.org.za/login.aspx

Your Global ID will be visible on your Profile Home Page in the “GlobalMemNo” field.

 

How do I raise my challenges when applying/registering for Global Certifications?

You must raise issues/challenges regarding Global Certifications directly on the CCMS. Log into the CCMS and raise a query using the “HELP” function on the platform. Using this function ensures that your query is logged and tracked on the system, and assists to ensure responses are efficient.

Exam preparation courses are available from the Leadership Academy for Guardians of Governance.  You can view available courses on the website: www.governanceacademy.co.za
