Documentation required for Membership Applications

The following documentation will be required during your membership application process.

If you do not have electronic copies of the documentation to upload during the application process, the documentation should sent either via e-mail to membership@iiasa.org.za with the subject line "Membership Documentation Submission" or via fax to 086 605 5616. When submitting your documentation, please use your account number as indicated on the invoice as a reference.

  Character Reference form
    The Character Reference form should be completed by a Certified Internal Auditor or your supervisor, manager or professor. Click here to download the Character Reference form.
  Experience Verification
   

The Experience Verification form should be verified by a Certified Internal Auditor or your supervisor, manager or professor. Click here to download the Experience Verification form

A copy of your CV (If you have experience in internal audit or any other internal audit related work with previous organisations)

  Identity Document
   

A certified copy of your passport, national identity card, or drivers license must be submitted with the application. The identification must be current (not expired) and have candidate's photo clearly visible.

  Other Documentation
   

A certified copy of your Highest Academic Qualification.

  Full Time Student Applications
   

If you are applying for Student Membership, you will need to you will need to submit confirmation of your enrolment as a full time student at a recognised tertiary institution.

Important:

The Student Member Class is reserved for individuals who a full-time student studying internal audit at a recognised academic institution. Student Membership is limited to a maximum of a five-year duration including an internship, served under the auspices of the academic institution, for a maximum of 12 months. On completion of the degree, the Student member must apply to be upgraded to the appropriate membership class.
